According to the previous years counselling records Institute of Engineering and Management,Kolkata(IEM) has only three departments , namely-Computer Science , Electronics and communication and Information Technology. But in this year's list of available seats in the WBJEE website Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering is also displayed. And also in IEM's official site Mechanical and Electrical are also displayed. This has become a cause of confusion for us regarding admission. It would be very kind of you sir to clear our doubts and give us the actual information.

on 2013-07-08 09:30:00Did you visit this year's pre-counselling? Teachers from IEM clearly stated that electrical and mechanical have been introduced from this year only.So where is your confusion? If you have the APAI Help book you can check it there too.
