CGPA stands for cumulative grade points awarded and YGPA stands for Yearly Grade Points Awarded. CGPA is calculated by dividing sum of all points obtained divided by the number of credits. For example if you have obtained a total of 218 points out of 27 credits in first sem , 224 points out of 29 credits in second sem , and 268 points out of 29 credits in the third sem , then your YGPA(consists of only First Sem and Second Sem ) === (218+224)/(27+29)==7.89. and CGPA =(218+224+268)/(27+29+29)=8.35! Hopefully I am able to clear your doubt! Good Luck! :)
