okay, two of my friends got year lags in this year. they were in 1st year. what should be better for them ? staying in the old college ? or go into a new college ?

i got 3 supplies in 1st semester.and alo got 3 supplies in 2 nd semester.so as per the rules i got year back. next year i gave the supply exams and got 2 resupply.and in the next i got 1 resupply.my result is "XP".so please can any body tell me that if i m promoted in second year or not. please anyone help me.its very inportant.
